Our Story

At WasteAway, we’re more than just a dumpster rental company — we’re your neighbors.

My name is Aaron, and I started WasteAway in 2021 with a simple goal: to help keep Lafayette and the surrounding communities cleaner, fresher, and picked up. Born and raised here, I graduated from Jefferson High School before joining the Navy, where I worked in mass communications. My service took me from Washington D.C. to Baghdad and aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln — where I also met my wife, Brianne.

After returning to Lafayette in 2013 to be near family, we bought an old American Foursquare near downtown, fixed it up, and eventually sold it. In 2025, we moved into the Historic Wallace Triangle neighborhood, where we now live in another restored home. We love old houses, walkable streets, and being part of Lafayette’s historic core — it’s the kind of place we’re proud to raise our three boys and invest in for the long haul.

WasteAway is a locally owned, one-truck operation focused on reliability and respect for your time and property. Whether you’re cleaning out a garage, remodeling a kitchen, or just need the junk gone — we make it easy to clear space and move forward.
